Q: Does the DVD work with a plasma screen?
A: To offer the highest quality for wither format, TVscreenART DVDs are mastered separately for both wide screens and regular screens. Both formats (4:3 and 16:9) are on the same DVD.
Q: How long does it play?
A: Total running time is 100 minutes. Each image is displayed for approximately four to five minutes. Additionally, the portfolio presentation with music is about 10 minutes long.
Q: Can I display a single image?
A: Each image can be played in an endless loop.
Random play, Gallery play and the Portfolio modes are also endless loops.
Q: Why do the images move slowly?
A: This elegant and artistic presentation of a work of fine art enhances appreciation and enjoyment. Your TV screen is also protected from burn-in.
Q: Can I use the TVscreenART DVD on a computer?
A: It is possible, but is not designed for your computer. This DVD is optimized for TV or plasma wide screens. Most computers are unable to show the high quality of this presentation.
Q: Is it easy to navigate?
A: Very easy. There are only two levels of menus. The main programs can be chosen from the main menu. Also, if no action is taken for two minutes the DVD goes into the random play mode. This auto-play feature can be used for easy starts by simply inserting the DVD into the player.
Q: Can I find information about the images and the artist?
A: There is an artwork catalog showing thumbnails of the images with title and other information, and an artist statement with a picture of the artist
Q: Is there music or sound?
A: Each DVD features a portfolio presentation with music. The Gallery presentation is without sound to enable longtime loops without getting tired of repeating music.
Q: How many images are on one DVD?
A: There are 18 images from the same artist on each DVD.
Q: Does it work as a screensaver on a computer?
A: TVscreenART is designed for TV screens. A screensaver function for a computer is not included.
Q: Does the DVD work outside the USA?
A: It will work in Canada and on all DVD players allowing Region Code 1 and NTSC TV system.
